Worship
The
Worship Commission works closely with the Pastor and Music Director encouraging
participation in worship and the music programs. The commission members
oversee the church office including the monthly publication of the
Bethlehem Star.
 Flower Committee
The
Flower Committee maintains a sign-up board in the Fellowship Hall for
placement of flowers in the Sanctuary. Flowers ordered as memorials or
honoraria are used to decorate the Sanctuary by the committee during the
Easter and Christmas holiday seasons.
Special Services
The
Worship Commission is responsible for working with the Pastor in scheduling
and planning special services for the Lenten Season, Easter, and Christmas.
Acolytes
Youth in
the 4th grade and up are encouraged to serve as an Acolyte. Each Sunday, the
Acolyte leads the processional to start the Church service and lights the candles
at the front. The acolyte assists the minister with offering and at the end
of the service extinguishes the candles and leads the recessional.
